Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a traditional Irish lunch or dinner, prepared how you would make it (if you had the time).
Take home a complete Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner made in our kitchen, ready to heat and serve, with tender corned beef, potatoes, onions & turnips. We’re also offering store-made Shepard’s Pie, filled with tender beef and vegetables in a rich gravy, with a mashed potato crust.
Enjoy an Irish feast in the diner at our Medfield location! From Friday, March 16th through Sunday, March 18th, visit us for lunch (11:30am – 1:30pm) or dinner (4:30pm – 7:00pm) and order a traditional boiled dinner, with our own Corned Beef and Cabbage, served with potatoes, turnips and a slice of Irish Soda Bread.
You can also find everything you need to make your own boiled dinner at home. Flat cut corned beef brisket — used to make traditional corned beef — needs to be cooked slowly at a low temperature, adding flavor and increasing tenderness. The corned beef brisket is already cured with salt. If you want to reduce the saltiness, soak it in a few changes of water in the hours before you make your meal. Cook your cabbage, potatoes and any other vegetables separately and combine with the corned beef before serving.
Cap off your celebration with some green and white decorated cupcakes from our bakery and a traditional Irish soda bread with raisins to go with your meal.
