INGREDIENTS
- 6 large boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 heaping Tbsp Brothers Marketplace Baharat
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Pita bread (to serve)
- Coriander (to serve)
- Plain yogurt (to serve)
DIRECTIONS
- Cut each thigh into strips and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and Baharat. Mix well and leave to marinate in refrigerator for at least one hour (up to 6 hours)
- Using two metal skewers, thread a quarter of the meat onto the skewers, Repeat, making 4 pairs of skewers in total. *Make sure that chicken is packed tightly
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Sear skewers in a hot frying pan, and then transfer to the oven. Roast until golden and cooked (160 degrees internal temperature)
- Remove from oven and let rest for five minutes
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken, and serve in pita pocket with coriander and yogurt
