Baharat Roasted Chicken


  • 6 large boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 heaping Tbsp Brothers Marketplace Baharat
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Pita bread (to serve)
  • Coriander (to serve)
  • Plain yogurt (to serve)


  • Cut each thigh into strips and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and Baharat. Mix well and leave to marinate in refrigerator for at least one hour (up to 6 hours)
  • Using two metal skewers, thread a quarter of the meat onto the skewers, Repeat, making 4 pairs of skewers in total. *Make sure that chicken is packed tightly
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Sear skewers in a hot frying pan, and then transfer to the oven. Roast until golden and cooked (160 degrees internal temperature)
  • Remove from oven and let rest for five minutes
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken, and serve in pita pocket with coriander and yogurt
