An Italian Feast

Celebrate Columbus Day and the roots of Christopher Columbus with your own Italian feast!

From our kitchen, start with a big and flavorful meatball in marinara sauce as the centerpiece of the meal, prepared how you would make it, if you had the time. We roll them by hand the traditional way with freshly ground beef, parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs, and then we season them with parsley, salt and pepper.

Select from a variety of our own Italian imported pasta made from 100% durum wheat semolina using a bronze die cut. Slowly dried at low temperatures, our pasta boasts a genuine flavor and texture that absorbs your favorite sauce. Pair it with our organic, non-GMO, and locally produced pasta sauce for an easy and delicious meal.

Made with organic plum tomatoes, organic sweet basil and traditional flavors, our Brothers Marketplace Pasta Sauce is handcrafted in small batches to give you that made from scratch flavor. We’ve carefully selected the freshest ingredients for our certified organic sauce. Enjoy it over pasta and with all of your Italian dishes, prepared how Nonna would make it if she had the time.

For a finishing touch, freshly grate Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, imported from the province Reggio Emilia, Italy, and stir it into your pasta. This hard, granular, cow’s milk cheese adds a sharp, umami flavor to the dish, due to the high concentration of naturally occurring glutamates.

If you’re making your own sauces at home, or want to dress grilled vegetables or a Caprese salad, try Brothers Marketplace Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Our 100% Italian, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is crafted in Italy by a 4th generation family run OLEIFICIO from the Frosinone, Lazio region of Italy. Our premium Aged Balsamic Vinegar is crafted in the artisan style, with high level of cooked grape must, and is aged for 3 years in a series of oak, cherry, and walnut barrels. Combined, theses two ingredients will add authentic Italian flavor to any meal.

Enjoy the traditional tastes of Italy and have a great holiday weekend!
